i'm looking forward to this new project book by kayte terry (photos by jennifer causey). for the past couple of weeks, i've been feeling super crafty and have really been inspired by this blog. there are a few decorating projects that i have been working on, but i want to move on to something more challenging than just painting furniture...i think this would do the trick.

ace hotel new york

i'm heading to new york in a few months and am dying to stay at the recently opened ace hotel. check out these rooms...some even complete with smeg fridges and turntables! vacation pads don't get much cooler than this.

i'm back from an amazing vacation in rosemary beach. beautiful architecture, crystal clear waters, quaint bike paths, and lots of fla-vor-ice (a beach vacation staple of course). while there, i discovered the incredible alys beach, which just so happens to be in this month's veranda magazine. founded on the principles of new urbanism, alys beach is the epitome of luxurious beach living with a cozy, Mediterranean feel to it.

it's time for our annual beach vacation! m and i are heading off to this incredible place for a week of relaxation with his family. this year, my beach mood is inspired by ruffles, pastels, stripes, and my favorite little creature, the starfish. happy friday!

san miguel wedding photos

the photos that i have anxiously awaited for an entire month are finally here! brooke schwab is the incredible photographer who shot my best friend's wedding in san miguel de allende. she did a wonderful job of capturing the intimate setting of the ceremony and celebration, not to mention, made the bride and groom look amazingly gorgeous. these are just a few of my favs, so check out the full post on brooke's blog.
